On the ground floor of the Unirea Shopping City store, Sephora will sit next to its direct competitor, Douglas.

The chain of cosmetics and perfumery stores Sephora, controlled by the giant LVMH, which is also the owner of Louis Vuitton, will open a new store on August 12, this time on the ground floor of the Unirea Shopping City store. Thus, the retailer covers the place left vacant at the end of 2020 by Pull & Bear, a brand from the portfolio of the Spanish giant Inditex, the owner of several brands, including Zara.

Until recently, Unirea Shopping Center was the zero kilometer of the Inditex empire and once the zero kilometer of Romanian fashion. At the end of last year, however, the Spaniards closed two of the stores – Bershka and Pull & Bear. Zara and Stradivarius, two other Inditex brands, remained open.
